Most fungus meds. will require a second dose within 4 days.
Fungus Eliminator by Jungle Labs requires a second does on the 4th day. Melafix will cure most fungus within 4 days.
The answer you are looking for really depends on how your fish is doing. I would leave the fish in the treatment for 3 days after there is no sign of the fungus, and he is eating and acting normally.
