What kind of bacteria or fungus is pink and would grow inside a trach tube?

I take care of a young girl that has a Trach tube. Recently I've noticed a slight pink discoloration when suctioning and cleaning the tube. What could this be?What kind of bacteria or fungus is pink and would grow inside a trach tube?
Never in growing mushrooms was pink a good color for me, as it often indicates salmonella! This ';salmon'; colored growth should definately be addressed asap. It can be found in your toilet ring at home, which is ALSO why dogs shouldn't drink from the toilet. Best of luck with that! What kind of bacteria or fungus is pink and would grow inside a trach tube?
Mold can be pink. The tubing is supposed to be replaced every so often, because the moisture that builds up can become mold and be very harmful for the patient. There is also a technique for cleaning out and drying the tubing which should be in the instruction papers that came with the equipment.
Pseudomonas?

Let her physician know, because it can be nasty as a lung infection.
