I have a baby Eastern Box Turtle and I think she has foot fungus on one of her foot and her head. Anyways, what causes foot fungus? How can you cure it? If it gets whiter is it getting better?
It's captive bred, and it is kept indoors, it has about a 1 pint of soaking water. It lives in the substrate like the eco earth or bed a beast bedding with some moss. I take it out once a week out to get sunlight. How do you cure fungus on a box turtle?
Microwaves work wonders with fungus. Throw the turtle in there and set it to 20 seconds.
Kidding!
Soak the turtle in an idodine solution twice a day for 15 minutes and keep it warm and dry outside the water overnight for a while. Keep her/him dry and see a veterinarian.
